Deakin International Centre & Business Building

CLIENT: Deakin University

LOCATION: Melbourne Campus at Burwood

The first project to be designed in accordance with the new Melbourne campus at Burwood Masterplan, this project is comprised of the following:

• A new International Centre will house offices, teaching activities and student support facilities. Occupancy
in the new building will include the office of Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), Deakin International, Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI) and the Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT).

• A new Business Building will house the business component of the Faculty of Business including teaching spaces, academic and administrative offices and student support spaces.

• A new carpark for minimum 672 car spaces. The carpark will be at ground level on the Elgar Road frontage, with a further two levels built to the east of the campus. These additional levels will follow the downward grade of the natural landform across the site.

• A cafe for students and staff.
