Central Precinct wins Urban Design Awards

The Central Precinct project at Deakin University won 3 categories at the recent City of Whitehorse Urban Design Awards.

The project won:

- Best New Commercial Building

- Environmental Sustainability Award

- Mayors Choice Award

The City of Whitehorse Mayor, Cr John Koutras, was impressed with the ESD design principles that were utilised in the design of the Central Precinct Project.

He also noted the building's importance to the wider community.
